I ship within the US and internationally. I'm trying to keep costs low by shipping with the USPS First Class. The fees are $2.50 for domestic shipping (with delivery confirmation), and $5.50 for international shipping. If you'd like to make other arrangements, please let me know. If you'd like insurance on your package, please let me know, and I will revise your total.
Returns/Refunds
I want all of my customers to be happy with their purchases, so I try to be very explicit about the condition of the item in every description. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please let me know so we can work out a solution!!
Jewelry Condition Ratings Guide
This guide is an attempt to demystify some of the words I use to rate the condition of the jewelry I'm listing. Most vintage jewelry is used and may exhibit signs of wear, which is normal due to the age of some pieces. I describe each piece individually and will point out any flaws I find. I also usually increase the contrast in my photos, so any flaws will be more pronounced. That said, here are some overarching descriptors and what they might mean inside an auction:
Perfect
The piece of jewelry has no visible flaws and no signs of wear.
Excellent
The piece of jewelry has evidence of wear, such as uneven or matte finish especially on the backs of earrings.
Very Good
The piece of jewelry has small flaws that are not usually noticeable during wear. These flaws could include light scratches on the surfaces of imitation pearls, light scuffs on rhinestones, or light marks on the metal's finish.
Good
The piece of jewelry is completely wearable with working hardware; however, the rhinestones may be yellowing or beginning to turn gray (dark spots are visible looking into the stone), the wear may be more visible, and there may be light chipping.
Fair
The piece of jewelry has visible damage that may include dark stones, missing stones, or broken parts.
Each piece of jewelry is different and could possibly fall into more than one category depending on wear. I try to describe each piece of jewelry in a straightforward, honest, and specific manner. I've adapted the above guide with permission from Janet Gaynor (AZillion SPARKLZ Vintage Costume Jewelry). Thanks!
